Toddler Tuesday Episode 4: Indoor Fun

Hey Hey Hey! It's Toddler Tuesday again! In this episode, I show you guys how much Amazon has done for my family. I know I can't be the only mom who's addicted to Amazon. I visit the website at least once per day. And they had the nerve to send me their catalog in the mail.

So, we got a package a few weeks ago, and as soon as I took the items out, Jordyn jumped in the box. Hilarious right? Being the toddler mom that I am, I sprayed Lysol over the box, wiped it down with a Clorox wipe, and let her go to town. (Of course after letting it dry)

We have done so many fun things with this box:

Created a fort

Put baby dolls inside

Made a ball pit

More recently, we did sticker art. Amazon's Holiday Wish book came with stickers and a coloring page inside. How cool is that? Pulling and placing stickers is another easy and cool fine motor activity for toddlers. She loved it. We used crayons and scribbled inside of the box. Toddler attention spans are not very long, so you literally can do a different activity everyday with this one box until it wears out.

I know... I know... some moms are freaking out at the thought of their kid playing with an Amazon box. So, I added a link for another cool option. Amazon has Cardboard playhouses that you can color; and they're large enough for children to climb inside. We're going to get Jordyn one for Christmas. I think she earned an upgrade.

I keep telling you guys, it doesn't take a lot to make learning fun for toddlers. All it takes is a little intentionality. Pay attention to their interests, and you will easily find things that keep them engaged. The more engaged they are, the more they learn. The more engaged they are, the more free time you create for yourself. You're welcome!
